Visa Issue For Chris Brown In New Zealand?
In Brown’s case, victims aid groups have indicated they would push for an exclusion. Women’s Refuge chief executive Dr Ang Jury told the New Zealand Herald, “It is important for anyone who chooses to abuse a partner or family member to know that the consequences of their behaviour carry on with them for many years. It’s outrageous!”
Other associations as White Ribbon and Shine emphasised how a ban would send a message to the NZ community “that this behaviour is not acceptable.”
Vili Leuga of tour promoter Castor & Ford Tours stated, “Chris Brown toured Australia in 2011 without any issue so we don’t expect any issues gaining entry to New Zealand for this tour.”
A Facebook page called ‘Allow Chris Brown Into New Zealand’ was set up this morning.
