Another Keef Concert Canned

A Chief Keef concert outside the Fonda Theater in Los Angeles was over before it began when police shut down the event Sept. 18.

The rapper was originally slated to play inside the venue, but put up a stage outside that was reportedly set to stream a hologram concert to 80,000 fans after the venue decided to cancel the show.

A spokesman for Hologram USA and FilmOn, Chief Keef’s record label, told The Wrap “it was shaping up to be a great night at the lot and we had 80,000 fans watching on FilmOn.com.

“We are so pissed off we are planning to build a permanent venue for hologram concerts next to AEG’s Fonda Theater.”

This isn’t the first show Keef has canceled in recent months. The rapper was slated to appear at concerts in Indiana and Illinois via hologram this summer, but officials pulled the plug on those events claiming Keef promotes violence and poses “a significant public safety risk.”
