Tyler Rap Attacks Australian Visa Laws

Tyler The Creator has attacked Australia’s visa laws that banned him from entering the country for a September tour.

In a new song “Fuck It,” the rapper slammed the rules as racist, asking why he was banned on the grounds of misogynistic lyrics when white artists as Eminem could tour downunder last year.

“When Marshall had this problem what the fuck was they telling him? / Is it cause of status or his melanin lacks black,” Tyler raps. The song also poses the questions, “How can I be misogynistic when I love titties and ass” and “How can I be homophobic when my boyfriend’s a fag?”

However, Collective Shout, the group that successfully lobbied to have him banned, dismissed the song as “juvenile” and “a tantrum (put) to music.”

Campaign manager Caitlin Roper said Tyler has shown no remorse from his raps in younger days “describing raping women, mutilating their bodies, locking them in his basement and raping their corpses.”

Roper pointed out Collective Shout teamed with domestic violence groups to try to get Eminem banned in 2013.
