Elton John Announces 2016 Las Vegas Dates
The Colosseum at Caesars Palace announced in fall 2014 that the world-renowned singer’s residency at the venue had been extended another three years. The “Million Dollar Piano” show, which began in 2011, takes its name from “an engineering marvel” of a piano created by Yamaha that boasts more than 68 LED video screens.
Attendees are treated to songs from throughout Elton’s five-decade career, including selections from his 16x platinum Goodbye Yellow Brick Road album.
Nigel Olsson, who was part of Elton’s original three-piece band, continues to back him on drums. Elton is also joined by musical director Davey Johnstone on guitar, Matt Bissonette on bass, John Mahon on percussion, Kim Bullard on keyboards, and a special appearance by percussionist Ray Cooper.
Elton’s schedule at The Colosseum At Caesars Palace continues through the end of October, including tonight’s show.
