Joe Satriani Has More Dates To Play
Satriani’s “Surfing to Shockwave” tour covers Satriani’s recording career, from 1986’s Not Of this Earth album to 2015’s Shockwave Supernova effort. Satriani’s camp likes to describe the outing as celebrating “30 years of mind-bending guitar daredevilry” – a phrase coined by Rolling Stone in a June 2014 feature about the awesome axeman.
The last time we checked in on Satriani’s tour, the journey ended at the Florida Theatre in Jacksonville, Fla., March 19. The new list of dates pick up two days later with Satriani rockin’ Durham, N.C.
