Utah Jazz’s Arena Has New Name

The home arena for the Utah Jazz will now be known as the Vivint Smart Home Arena.

The team announced the name for the building previously called EnergySolutions Arena on Monday.

The agreement with Vivint is a 10-year deal. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Vivint is a smart home provider and technology company based in Provo, Utah. The agreement includes the “Vivint Smart Home Experience” in the concourse and other services aimed at improving the fan experience. Security and other technologies are scheduled to be upgraded.

The 19,911-seat building opened in 1991. There have been $25 million in upgrades to the facility in the last five years.
