Introducing Gideon Gottfried
Pollstar is pleased to introduce its new European News Correspondent, Gideon Gottfried, whose experience includes five years at German music publication Musikmarkt and whose work has appeared in Billboard among other publications.
Gideon takes over for John Gammon, who passed away unexpectedly in August and leaves big shoes to fill. Born in Germany and based in England, Gideon attended Ludwig Maximilians University Munchen where he studied communication sciences.
He cofounded an indie music label based in Munich and has his own SoundCloud and YouTube channels displaying his “Rap Skills and out-of-this-world flow.”
Gideon enjoys cycling and, when put on the spot, cited Lauryn Hill and Cypress Hill among his all-time favorite artists.
