Changes At Secret Sounds Touring
Sousley began at Texas-based C3 Presents in 2006, booking venues and events and spearheading Lollapalooza’s entry into dance music with Perry’s Stage. In 2012, he moved to Sydney as chief operating officer for Big Day Out festival when C3 became part-owner. (The festival was rested for 2015).
Sousley moved to Secret Sounds Touring in April 2013, working on its Splendour In The Grass festival and Falls festival’s South by Southwest showcase, and on its tours which included Mumford & Sons, Father John Misty, and The 1975.
Operations manager and former venues booker Sam Shaw takes over as general manager for Secret Sounds Touring in Australia and New Zealand. Blake Rayner joins the company in an artist development role. He will utilise his past experience as A&R manager and licensing manager at associated labels Dew Process and Create-Control to deliver emerging talent to the touring roster. Secret Sounds Touring’s Los Angeles-based operatives include Tim Peterson as production manager and Tim Manton in artist development.
