Greensky Bluegrass On The Road In 2016
Serving up a mix of Americana, bluegrass and indie rock, the quintet from Kalamazoo, Mich., features Anders Beck on dobro and lap steel, Michael Arlen Bont on banjo and vox, Dave Bruzza on guitar and lead vox, Mike Devol on acoustic bass and vox, and Paul Hoffman on mandolin and lead vox.
Greensky Bluegrass has a ton of gigs left on its 2015 calendar, including tonight’s show in Bend, Ore., at the Domino Room. After playing two hometown shows during Thanksgiving weekend Nov. 27-28, the band heads to Cancun, Mexico, for “Strings & Sol” Dec. 11 and 13. This year wraps up with two nights in Royal Oak, Mich., Dec. 30-31.
Prior to the official Winter Tour kick-off, the group has two nights lined up at Chicago’s Vic Theatre Jan. 1-2. If you don’t see your city on the list below, never fear because this is only “Leg 1” of the outing. Here’s how the routing stands today:
