Record Attendance At New Fall Festival
Some 12,500 people witnessed the fifth edition of SSC’s New Fall indoor event Oct. 28 to Nov. 1 in Düsseldorf.

Organizers heralded SSC’s New Fall indoor event as a success, largely thanks to the inclusion of the Capitol Theatre in Dusseldorf, Germany.
SSC’s CEO Hamed Shahi-Moghanni cited the inclusion of two new venues into this year’s edition as the main reason for achieving the record.
The NRW Forum and the Capitol Theater were part of New Fall for the first time, extending the number of venues to eight. Kitty, Daisy & Lewis, Marianne Faithful – both from the UK – Patrice from Germany and Boy from Switzerland were among this year’s lineup.
SSC has already announced Wilco as first act for the next edition, which is Oct. 27-30. The band will play the Congress Center Düsseldorf, which will become part of New Fall in 2016.
