DEAG Extends Schwenkow Contract
One of the main goals in the next three years will be the European expansion of DEAG’s in-house ticketing platform myticket, which was launched in November 2014 with takeholders including media powerhouses Axel Springer and ProSiebenSat.1.
Six months later, the UK launch of the platform was announced. Next up are Austria and Switzerland. Other future business objectives include the development of DEAG’s national and international festivals, the family entertainment division and the classical segment.
Renewing with Schwenkow, who will also continue to function as CEO, will give the company “continuity in management,” as the official statement reads. The remaining board, too, will stay the same, with Christian Diekmann acting as CFO & COO and Detlef Kornett as CMO.
