While the Production Meeting moves into a new location because of ever-increasing demand (Copthorne Tara Hotel), the Association Summit will welcome the live industry’s trade bodies in the Royal Garden Hotel in London for this year’s International Live Music Conference.

The organizers around ILMC head Greg Parmley also introduced “a new private networking area in ILMC’s very own off-site pub,” an official statement reads. A couple of last year’s innovations were refined for the 28th edition, which takes place March 3-6.
For example, the workshop program will be expanded by tech-focused educational sessions. The live music showcase offer is going to be greater than in past years as well; details have yet to be announced.
“Last year’s edition introduced a whole new schedule and increased our panels and workshops by 50%, while this year we’re widening the scope to focus on increased networking, showcases and information exchange,” says ILMC head Greg Parmley. “Add this lot to our regular mix of panels, meetings and events, and it might be the strongest ILMC program we’ve ever had.”
Said program also includes the Arthur Awards ceremony, which takes place March 5 at The Savoy Hotel. The website for ILMC 2016 just went live. It displays a classic “Space Invaders”-esque video games theme for next year’s edition.
