Rinaldo Returns

Jon Rinaldo, whose Joker Productions brought shows to the Pittsburgh market throughout the ‘90s, is back in action, this time under the moniker Big Bash Entertainment.

Big Bash has been announced as the buyer for Pittsburgh’s 650-capacity Diesel Club Lounge, a room Rinaldo booked from 2008 to 2011 after the former Nick’s Fat City reopened with a new name, décor, sound and lighting system.

Rinaldo has been brought on board by Diesel’s owner, AMPD Group, a hospitality development and management company.

“I’m very excited to be returning to the live concert industry and to be a part of the resurgence of Diesel,” Rinaldo said. “Ownership has given me an excellent opportunity here and I look forward to bringing live entertainment back to the venue and the South Side.”
