Music Shop Owner Ordered To Remove Records From Roof
A northern Ohio city is ordering a music shop owner to remove more than 800 record albums tacked to his store’s roof.
Toledo officials say the vinyl records on top of the store are decaying and are becoming a nuisance.
The owner of Culture Clash music shop says he’ll have all of the records down by the middle of the month.
Pat O’Connor tells The Blade newspaper in Toledo that the records have been a great landmark for the store.
He put them up nearly six years ago when business was slow.
O’Connor says about four records fall off the roof every year, but none have caused any damage.
