Country Music “Party” Releases Set Times
The Academy of Country Music’s annual festival, being held April 1-3, is now in its 4th year, and is a part of a series of events leading up to the 51st Academy of Country Music Awards on April 3, which will immediately follow Kenny Chesney’s performance Sunday night.
Ticket proceeds from the festival go towards programs to support veterans and wounded warriors. Over $400,000 has been raised through previous festivals.
The Fairground’s gates will open at 3 p.m. on Friday and at noon on both weekend days. The schedule has been organized so that there isn’t a lot of overlap between the two stages, with the Cabela’s stage acts starting out the day, and the Ram Trucks Main Stage featuring the headliners later in the day.
