Ted Mellencamp Dies
Ted Mellencamp, 62, tour manager and brother to John Mellencamp, died at his Nashville home March 4, according to Voss & Sons Funeral Home.
Ted worked as a journeyman electrician for eight years before launching his career as a tour manager.
He also worked as a promotional rep for Polygram Records, based in Houston and Nashville, and is credited with helping to build the careers of many prominent artists including John Mellencamp, Jon Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Cinderella, KISS, Tears for Fears, The Scorpions, and Kool and the Gang, to name a few.
