Ryan Adams + Noel Gallagher

Ryan Adams and his band The Shining have teamed up with Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds for two U.S. gigs this summer. Tickets for the co-headline dates go on sale to the public Friday.

Mark your calendar for July 12 at Meadow Brook Amphitheatre in Rochester, Mich., and July 13 at Pittsburgh’s Stage AE.

Adams has slotted the co-bill dates in between festival appearances including Winnipeg Folk Fest and Forecastle Festival in Louisville. Gallagher has plenty of festival sets on his own schedule, along with headline dates in Australia, Europe and the U.S.

Gallagher is working on the follow-up to the High Flying Birds’ sophomore release, 2015’s Chasing Yesterday. But if you see him on the street, don’t ask him about it.

“I’m doing some stuff that, this time in particular, will get really properly ignored in America,” he told Rolling Stone. “I don’t just mean ignored like the rest of ’em. I mean properly ignored. That’s what I’m aiming for: total, total, anonymity. I’m sick and tired of being in New York and being pestered by one person a month. That’s gotta fucking stop.”

Adams’ latest release is 1989 – his take on Taylor Swift’s album of the same name.

Tickets for Rochester and Pittsburgh go on sale March 25 at 10 a.m. EST.
