Auckland City Limits To Return

Veteran New Zealand promoter Campbell Smith,  Austin’s C3 Presents and Live Nation Australasia said in a joint statement, “It was always meant to be long-term.”

The 30-strong bill was headlined by Kendrick Lamar and The National. Smith says he hopes the festival will grow to fill the venue’s grounds capacity of 50,000 and that as the word spreads, more international acts and bookers will see Auckland City Limits as a must-stop destination when they organise tours to the region. He said sound and queue issues of the first event would be addressed.
