Cleveland To Host Rock Hall Induction Ceremony Every 2 Years
Cleveland will get to rock out even more often.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will hold its annual induction ceremony in the city every two years starting in 2018.
The museum is located in Cleveland. But the city has been alternating as host of the ceremony with Los Angeles and New York. Last year’s ceremony at Public Hall was highlighted by the enshrinement of Ringo Starr and Green Day and gave the local economy a $15 million jolt.
Hall of Fame president Greg Harris says the museum’s mission “to engage, teach and inspire fans and artists through the power of rock and roll has generated hard, tangible results.” He says he’s committed to having the inductions in Cleveland every other year.
