Lindsey Stirling Shredding String Of North America Shows

Electronic violinist Lindsey Stirling is bringing her unique brand of dance music to stages throughout the United States and Canada in a series of shows throughout July and August.

The dates will start from the East Coast at the Toyota Presents Oakdale Theater in Wallingford, Conn., and gradually move west, with the final show at the William Saroyan Theatre in Fresno, Calif. The itinerary includes a run of 24 shows in 33 days.

Stirling walked onto EDM artist Robert Delong’s recent performance at Coachella and has infused electronic dance music with her classical stylings to create a unique brand that has captivated live audiences and YouTube viewers for several years.

The violinists’ tour is synchronized with the release of her new album through her record label Lindseystomp. The album, currently unnamed will be available through PledgeMusic via a pre-order campaign at an undisclosed date. This album will be her third, with both previous releases Lindsey Stirling and Shatter Me having reached R.I.owaA’s gold certification.

Stirling is also a published author, having written an autobiography titled “The Only Pirate At The Party” and an essay on her period volunteering with the Mormon church. Outside of her recording and publishing career, she is a motivational speaker, and places an emphasis on trying to imbue teenagers with confidence to pursue their talents.
