Justin Bieber Nixes Photos

Justin Bieber’s fans will want to hold on to any selfies they’ve snapped with the singer.  That’s because he’s proclaimed to the world that he’s ‘done taking pictures.”

Having deep-sixed his meet & greets in March, Bieber fortified the wall between performer and fans this week when he announced via Instagram that he “doesn’t owe anybody a picture.”

“If you happen to see me out somewhere know that I’m not gonna take a picture,”  Bieber wrote.  “It has gotten to the point that people won’t even say hi to me or recognize me as a human.  I feel like a zoo animal, and I wanna be able to keep my sanity.  I realize people will be disappointed but I don’t ow anybody a picture.  And people who say ‘but I bought ur album’ know that you got my album and you got what you paid for.  An album.  It doesn’t say in fine print whenever you see me you also get a photo.”

Bieber’s Instagram post has resulted in at least one comment stating that his “fans are the reason” he’s a success and that a “normal” life isn’t what he “signed up for.”

What do you think?  Does Bieber have a point about not wanting to be in fans’ photos?  Or is he just overstepping his superstar status?
