A split in the Austin, Texas, entertainment circuit has resulted in two major players leaving Transmission Entertainment, the city’s largest independent concert promoter.

Graham Williams, who founded the Fun Fun Fun Fest, has left and started booking agency Margin Walker Presents, the company said in a statement. Multiple media outlets have also reported that co-founder James Moody left Transmission now that Austin-based Stratus Properties Inc. has bought out the promo and  in Austin and  in San Antonio, the company said.

Williams and Moody founded Transmission Events in 2007 with Chris Butler and Michael Terraza. “

“It sucks when things doesn’t continue forward the way we’re used to, but at the same time it opens up a lot of doors to do a lot of great things,” Williams told the Chronicle. “I think we have a lot of great stuff on the horizon.”
