Kip Moore’s Kind Of Tour
Moore is bringing along Jon Pardi as his special guest.
“Being out on the road is where me and the band feel most at home,” Moore said. “Even though we’ve been nonstop already this year with the headlining shows in The U.K. and the Miranda tour, it just doesn’t feel natural to slow down, our live show is when we are in our element. I’m really looking forward to having the opportunity to test some new material that we’ve been working on out on the road and having Jon out with us too, I’m sure we’re going to get into some trouble out there.”
Along with the new material, Moore will be sure to play some tunes from his sophomore album, Wild Ones, which Rolling Stone named as one of the best country albums of 2015.
Entertainment Weekly also thought the LP rocked. The publication’s review says, “The Georgia-bred songwriter introduced himself as a country drifter with a gift for storytelling on his solid 2012 Up All Night. His follow-up has bigger ambitions: Wild Ones is Springsteen-style rock that reaches for the stadium’s nosebleeds. Moore hasn’t ditched his country roots entirely, but it’s the burn-the-barn-down stompers like ‘Come and Get It’ that stick.”
Singles on the LP include “I’m to Blame” and “Running For You.”
After playing Chippewa Valley Country Fest in Cadott, Wis., over the weekend, Moore’s next stop is Thursday’s gig on Lambert’s “Keeper of the Flame Tour” in Darien Center, N.Y. Ahead of his fall tour Moore also has appearances lined up at CMT Music Fest, Madison County Fair and South Dakota State Fair. Plus, he’s playing Nashville’s Guitar-B-Que Aug. 10, the annual Big 98 fundraiser concert for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
