Reverend Peyton And Supersuckers Team Up For Tour

Americana here we come: Blues and folk sounds will abound when The Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band joins Supersuckers for a co-headline tour in the fall. Jesse Dayton will be supporting the full run.

“The Distinguished Delinquents” tour starts Oct. 7 in Englewood, Colo., at the  and continues until the closing gig Nov. 20 at the .

The tour definitely lingers on the West Coast early on, with an extended run of shows in Seattle, Oregon and California. From there, it’s mostly Arizona and Texas, with pairs of shows in Georgia and North Carolina.

The Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band isn’t that big, it’s actually just a trio with drums, percussion and the Reverend’s guitar. It does bring high energy country-blues music that they reportedly play at 250 shows a year.

Supersuckers is decidedly more punk, and has been blending country influences with power chords for almost 20 years. The band’s latest album was 2015’s Holdin’ The Bag.
