LCD Soundsystem Sends Out Beach Vibes

LCD Soundsystem is headlining and curating a new, all-inclusive getaway at Mexico’s Riviera Maya. The lineup includes Hot ChipRun The Jewels, Carl Craig, DJ Harvey, and The Black Madonna.

The event, called , is set to take place at the Barceló Maya Jan. 26-28.  The resort has five unique properties and the concert itself will be held at Playa Azul on the Yucatan Peninsula. The venue plays up the connection to the Yucatan, with various Mayan-themes characterizing the different properties.

There will be all kinds of stuff to do in-between performances, from snorkeling and deep sea fishing to zip lines and ATV tours. Underground caverns, a vibrant jungle and Mayan ruins scattered along the famous Riviera Maya are all open for exploration as well.

Beach Vibes’ website lists CID presents as a sponsor of the festival, which means there is an experienced promoter helping LCD Soundsystem make the festival a success.

Widespread Panic also recently announced the return of its “Panic En La Playa” festival in late February and March, which will take place at the  in the Yucatan.  will be holding its “One Big Holiday at the same location earlier in February.

All-inclusive packages for Beach Vibes come with different pricetags, depending on how many perks you want, and which property you pick. Packages are available for one to six people, starting at $1,349 per person.
