At Your Beck And Call

Beck announces a handful of North American performances starting Sept. 15 in New Orleans at  and continuing until Sept. 23 at the  in St. Louis.

Beck was already scheduled to perform at  in Franklin, Tenn., Sept. 24, and that is currently the last item on his routing. He is also locked in for the Sept. 17-18  in Atlanta, Ga., but organizers haven’t announced the daily lineup yet, so we still don’t know when the “Loser” singer will take the stage.

The American gigs follow a few stops in Asia this month. Beck will rock  in Seoul Thursday, then he plays  in Niigata, Japan on Saturday.

Beck’s recent music, such as the 2015 radio hit “Dreams” and the new single “Wow,” is upbeat and dance-centric, a noticeable departure from the melancholic style of his 2014 album, Morning Phase, which won the Grammy for Album of the Year. The singer/songwriter has always been a darling of music critics and is known for his ability to stretch into different genres.

Here is the plan for North America:

Sept. 15 – New Orleans, La., Saenger Theatre
Sept. 17 or 18 – Atlanta, Ga., Piedmont Park (Music Midtown Festival)
Sept. 19 – Charlottesville, Va., Sprint Pavilion
Sept. 20 – Columbus, Ohio, Express Live!
Sept. 22 – Bloomington, Ind., Indiana University Auditorium
Sept. 23 – St. Louis, Mo., Peabody Opera House
Sept. 24 – Franklin, Tenn., Park At Harlinsdale Farm (Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival)

General onsales start July 22 at 10 a.m. local time, although some shows have presales already underway. Beck.com is home base for all things Beck, and you can also check out his Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for the latest updates.
