Oak Ridge Boys To Spread Xmas Cheer
Fans will get a variety of stylings with The Oak Ridge Boys’ seasonal outing. The Country Music Hall of Fame members are planning a show packed with contemporary hits, religious songs, holiday classics and more, including selections from the group’s six top-selling Christmas CDs. Each evening will also include the fan-favorite segment where each Oak Ridge Boy sits by the fireplace while sharing his own personal observations about Christmas.
And even though William Lee Golden doesn’t climb aboard a reindeer-powered sleigh and circumnavigate the globe while bringing presents to children each Dec. 25, the white bearded singer is sure to remind you of a certain North Pole resident who is known for his Yuletide escapades
“Christmas is my favorite time of year,” said Oak Ridge Boys lead singer Duane Allen. “I love the positive things about the season … the joy, happiness, giving, sharing, time with family, and gifts. The beautiful lights and decorations, Christmas music. Special food. And most of all the true meaning, which, of course, is celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.”
