The Killers is one of the biggest acts to emerge from Vegas in recent years, and the content of Sam’s Town was largely inspired by band members’ experiences growing up in Sin City. The album, which contained the smash single “When You Were Young,” went platinum on four continents.

The vinyl is being reissued with two bonus tracks, and there will only by 5,016 copies made, but purchases of those will include special coffee-table booklets.

The shows will be at Sam’s Town Hotel and Gambling Hall Sept. 30 and Oct. 1, with all profits going to local charities. In addition to the shows, the Sam’s Town Decennial Extravaganza will also feature a guided tour of Las Vegas from the band members.

The group consists of frontman and keyboardist Brandon Flowers, guitarist Dave Keuning, bassist Mark Stoermer and drummer Ronnie Vannucci, the same membership from the original release of Sam’s Town.

The Killers’ fan club members get access to a presale starting on Aug. 3 at 10 a.m. PST. The general onsale is Aug. 5 at 10 a.m. PST.
