PAC Staffers Charged With Kiddie Porn

Child pornography charges were filed against two former employees of the company contracted to operate  after police investigated videos taken of young girls in a changing room at the California venue.

Venue Tech, the third-party San Francisco company that manages VPAT, fired technical director Thomas McPike and part-time technician Donald Wade when it was notified by police the two were under investigation, according to the Vacaville Reporter.

Cell phone videos of girls from a local dance troupe changing clothes in a VPAT dressing room were allegedly found on their personal computers.

“We find the alleged actions of these former employees reprehensible,” said Judy Barkett, a Venue Tech senior VP, in a statement to the paper. She added that Venue Tech and the theatre are cooperating fully with the investigation, and that both men were subjected to criminal background checks as a condition of employment and neither had a prior record.
