More Van Morrison For U.S.

Van Morrison has announced a pair of shows in Vegas in January and a three-night stand in Florida soon after.

The shows all take place within the span of one week. The Vegas gigs are at the  Jan. 13-14. In Clearwater, Fla., the gigs will be at  Jan. 17-19.

Van the Man also has a week of gigs in California this October, and a single performance in Queens, N.Y. at  Oct. 9.

In Europe, the blue-eyed soul legend plays at  tomorrow in Lokeren, Belgium, and is in Trondheim, Norway on Wednesday. The singer has plenty of other shows booked across the pond as well, but except for a pair of performances in Germany, the rest are all in the United Kingdom.

His most recent release, a remastered version of his 1973 live album It’s Too Late to Stop Now, came out in June, with three more discs of live performances from the same tour and a DVD, as It’s Too Late to Stop Now… Volumes II, III, IV & DVD.

At 70 years old, Van has been honored with Knighthood, Grammy awards, honorary degrees and has collaborated with Roger Waters, John Lee Hooker, Ray Charles, and .

Tickets to the Vegas show go on sale Aug. 12 at 10 a.m. local time. Purchasing a ticket will earn you a free physical copy of Van’s upcoming Keep Me Singing album, to be released Sept. 30.

The Clearwater tickets went on sale in July, but tickets may still be available through the box office, if you hurry.
