Global Solutions Division Added To AEG Facilities

The new division, to be titled AEG Facilities Global Solutions, will be headed up by Jay Cooper, who has been promoted to Sr. Vice President of AEG Facilities.

Bob Newman, AEG Facilities President, said the move, which leverages the company’s extensive experience in owning and managing venues, is in “direct response to market demand and perfectly complements our core business.”

The new division will offer packages of services that relate to pre-construction and pre-opening planning, vendor selection, sponsorship and premium seating, operational and sustainability planning and risk management, procurement and safety and security assessments, according to a statement.

Examples of nuts and bolts services provided include pre-construction design analysis, district master planning, detailed insight into staff selection, and training in security, ticketing, guest services and repairs..

Cooper, who boasts nearly 35 years in venue management, said AEG’s vast resources and commitment to long-term success and growth are what distinguishes the company, and the new division will share those with clients.
