IFF Completes Program
The German promoting father-son tag team “will be sharing lessons learnt from their six decades in concert promotion, including the 2016 edition – one of the most challenging yet,” according to the announcement.
IFF’s 2016 agenda is thereby complete. Conference founders Greg Parmley and Ruud Berends expect around 500 professionals for the second edition from Sept. 28-29.
Other IFF formats include the so-called Therapy Session, where festival bookers and agents talk about their major grievances to find better ways of conducting business, moderated by Coda’s Cris Hearn. The Agent & Festival Roulette sees guests like Natasha Bent (UTA), Mike Greek (CAA), Josh Javor (X-ray Touring) and others answer previously submitted and randomly selected questions.
Glastonbury’s Ben Challis will host a session where panelists discuss “a summer affected by bad weather, cancellations and performance licensing issues. The Artists: View from the Stage invites a panel of future headliners to feedback directly on their festival experiences.”
On both days, ATC Live, CAA, Coda, ITB, LPO, Pitch & Smith, Primary Talent, UTA, WME and X-ray Touring will showcase their priority talent for the upcoming festival season. “After last year’s sell-out launch event, we’re broadening the IFF agenda to include more of the key topics in the international festival business,” Berends commented.
“And with more showcases than ever, more agency partners, and even a few more invited delegates, it’s looking like a great second edition.”
IFF is Sept. 28-29 in Camden.
