According to the music website Bandwagon, Slipknot fans throughout Asia have always been frustrated that the band rarely plays outside of Japan when they visit the region.
However, Slipknot just added Taipei to its itinerary on Nov. 3, and Bandwagon, which has a base in Singapore, thinks it’s probably more economical for local fans to travel to Taipei to see the band, though, apparently, there’s a campaign by Singapore Slipknot fans to get the group to come to their city on this tour.
The last time Slipknot toured Asia outside of Japan was in 2005.
