In May, the Arizona Sports and Tourism Authority announced it was changing management of the facility. In his new role, Sullivan will be responsible for supervision and oversight of the event experience at the facility, which includes the 55,000-capacity National Stadium, a 12,000-capacity arena and a large aquatics center.
He will report to Manu Sawhney, CEO of SportsHub PTE Ltd, the public/private partnership that manages the project.
