Rolling Stones Double Down On Vegas

Why play one night in Las Vegas when you can easily play two?  That’s the plan for The Rolling Stones as the legendary rock ’n’ roll band adds a second evening at the T-Mobile Arena.

Back in June The Rolling Stones began the summer by announcing the band would follow up its dual weekends at the all-star extravaganza by playing T-Mobile Oct. 19.  Tickets for the show sold as you would expect for a Stones concert.

In case you spent the summer emerged in cryogenic suspension, the Stones, along with Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, The Who, Neil Young and Roger Waters, are on the bill for Desert Trip at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, Calif.  Presented by the same folks who bring you the yearly Coachella fest and to be held at the same location, Desert Trip runs Oct. 7-9 and Oct. 14-16 with all acts playing both weekends.  The Stones and Dylan are on the bill Oct. 7 and Oct. 14.

The new Vegas gig set for Oct. 22 at T-Mobile is being heralded as the “second and final Las Vegas show” for the band.  Tickets go on sale Sept. 16 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time.  Check out RollingStones.com for more details.
