Halsey has been added to the lineup for the the 23rd annual Nobel Peace Prize Concert in Fornebu near Oslo, Norway, bringing the number of acts performing to … two.
Halsey is the second act announced for the show scheduled for Dc. 11 at the Telenor Arena and joins previously announced Norwegian band Highasakite on the lineup. More artists will be announced.
Halsey joins a very elite list of artists who have performed at the yearly event. Past concerts have included appearances by Paul McCartney, Elton John, Alicia Keys, A-ha, Morrissey, Mary J. Blige, Steven Tyler, Janelle Monáe, and Bob Dylan.
“We’re thrilled that Halsey will be joining us in December for the Nobel Peace Prize Concert,” Norwegian Nobel Institute director Olav Njølstad said. “Through her music, she’ll be helping share the message of peace to a global audience. Not only will those in attendance be able to watch an electrifying performance, but fans across the world will be able to stream the special event on YouTube.”
