Brantley Gilbert Announces New Album & Tour
The Devil Don’t Sleep is due out Jan. 13, marking his fourth studio album. That’s also the name of his upcoming tour, which begins in February.
Gilbert broke the news in a Facebook live video, which included an explanation about the album title.
“For those of you who don’t know, all my records are chapters of my life,” Gilbert said. “They tell a story. This last chapter. You know, there’s always the good, the bad and the ugly but there’s a lot of good on this one. Because this last chapter of my life has been extremely positive. God has been awesome and blessed us in a lot of ways. I got married and that’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me.
“There’s been a lot of good things but The Devil Don’t Sleep is about knowing that the devil’s always there and there’s always temptation. It keeps me on my toes and it’s a constant reminder to me to move forward and keep my nose in the right direction. So that’s what that’s about. So we’re just announcing a few of the dates today. We’re going to be announcing more on Nov. 11. I’m really hoping we’re coming out there near you, wherever you are.”
