Metallica Adds South Korean Stop

Get ready South Korea! Metallica will be playing one night in Seoul next year as a part of its WorldWired Tour.

The show will be Jan. 11 at the Gocheok Sky Dome, teasing it as the first of “six shows in that corner of the world.” The newly announced date will be one month before the band holds down a four-show series in Copenhagen, Denmark at Roy.

Metallica is amping up for the release of its next album, Hardwired … to Self Destruct, which will come out Nov. 18 via Blackened Recordings.

The group recently played a set at Global Citizen Festival in New York and followed it with a special one-night gig for members of its fan club at Webster Hall in New York Sept. 27.

Discounted floor seats will be available Oct. 24 and the general onsale is on Oct. 26 at noon. You can learn more about the band at Metallica.com.
