Glastonbury Books Radiohead For 2017

Radiohead has been back in a big way in 2016 with a substantial world tour and the release of a new record. Today it was announced that the band will feature in one of the United Kingdom’s largest annual festivals.

 is set to take place June 21-25 at  in Pilton, England.  It announced today that Radiohead will play on the Pyramid Stage June 23.

The BBC reported men painting the band’s logo on the campgrounds, generating hype about the band’s potential return. Festival organizer Emily Eavis recently corroborated the news on Instagram stating, “YES! Radiohead will be back at Worthy Farm and we really can’t wait.”

This will be the band’s third time headlining the festival, previously appearing in 1997 and 2003. The group also made a surprise appearance at the festival in 2011.

The band has been playing festivals and headline dates throughout the year to support the release of A Moon Shaped Pool. Highlights included performances at  and a two-night stand at .
