Jon Lovitz & Dana Carvey Are Vegas Bound

There’s something funny about this particular Sin City residency.  That’s because “Saturday Night Live” vets Jon Lovitz and Dana Carvey will co-headline 10 weekends at The Foundry at SLS Las Vegas in 2017.

“Reunited” is what they’re calling the 20-show gig launching in January with dates reaching all the way to October.  The 90-minute show of stand-up comedic excellence will feature musical numbers, impressions and even flashbacks to the duo’s “SNL” days and characters like “The Church Lady” and “Master Thespian.”  Plus, each evening includes a self-described “no-holds barred” Q&A between the comics and fans.

Of course, two heavyweights of hilarity sharing the billing requires quotes from both stars.

“Jon and I go way back, and it’s been memorable creating this one-of-a-kind concept with one of my lifelong cohorts,” Carvey said.  “Las Vegas is the perfect city to experience a good time and the Foundry is the perfect stage to bring it to life.”

“I am ecstatic to be performing with Dana Carvey, one of my best friends since my time at ‘SNL,’” Lovitz said.  “Performing in such a popular resort, in a state-of-the-art, intimate venue, is an honor in itself.”

Dates are Jan. 6-7, Feb. 3-4, March 17-18 & 31-April 1, May 5-6, June 30-July 4, Sept. 1-2, Oct. 6-7 & 27-28.  Tickets starting at $49 are on sale now.  VIP options are available.  Click here for what you need to know.
