Bruce Springsteen Announces Additional ‘Born To Run’ Dates
Springsteen’s autobiography – which is named after the singer/songwriter’s third studio album – was released in September via Simon & Schuster. The Boss narrates the audiobook, which is due out Dec. 6.
The New York Times’ Dwight Garner describes “Born To Run” as a “big, loose, rangy and intensely satisfying memoir … The book is like one of Mr. Springsteen’s shows — long, ecstatic, exhausting, filled with peaks and valleys … ‘Born to Run’ is, like his finest songs, closely observed from end to end. His story is intimate and personal, but he has an interest in other people and a gift for sizing them up.”
Springsteen’s next run of bookstores begins Nov. 28 in Chicago. Here’s the plan:
Nov. 28 – Chicago, Ill., Books-A-Million
Nov. 29 – Cincinnati, Ohio, Joseph-Beth
Nov. 30 – Denver, Colo., Tattered Cover
Dec. 1 – Austin, Texas, Book People
Dec. 2 – Kennesaw, Ga., 2nd & Charles
Tickets are available now and include a copy of Springsteen’s memoir.
