The new gigs are June 28 in Ormeau Gardens in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and June 29 at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham in Dublin. Those performances come in advance of Green Day’s July 1 appearance at Barclaycard British Summer Time at Hyde Park in London, which is currently the last stop in the itinerary.
Prior to the newly announced shows Green Day has European festivals lined up in June. Pinkpop in the Netherlands, I-Days in Italy, Hurricane in Germany and Southside in Germany are all on the menu for the boys.
The next place to catch Green Day is in its native Bay Area at Live 105’s Not So Silent Night at Oracle Arena in Oakland, Calif., Dec. 10. The band also plays KROQ’s Almost Acoustic Christmas at Forum in Inglewood the following night.
The band also has a routing which spans Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand in early 2017.
