SMG To Manage Two New Venues

SMG, the UK’s largest arena operator, will manage the new Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre in Scotland, as well as a new auditorium in Hull, England.  

SMG has agreed to a 10-year deal with Aberdeen City Council to manage, operate and program the new 12,500-capacity AECC, which is to open in 2019 in Bucksburn as opposed to the current exhibition center, which is in Bridge of Don.

While the £333 million project i, Leeds’ first direct arena, Newcastle’s Metro Radio Arena and the new Bristol Arena.
