Levity Group Inks With TicketWeb

TicketWeb adds as many as 31 venues and 1 million tickets to its platform with a series of new partnerships including with Levity Entertainment Group, The Improv Group and Blue Note clubs, announced Dec. 6 by parent company Live Nation.  

The self-service ticketing platform and Ticketmaster subsidiary also adds  in Knoxville, Tenn., and  and  in San Francisco.

TicketWeb included in the announcement news that it has also renewed existing contracts with Knitting Factory for all its clubs,  in Santa Ana, Calif.; ATX Brands in Austin, which operates bars and restaurants; and Chicago venues Space, and .

The partnership with Levity Entertainment Group brings 14 comedy venues to the table, including two Levity Live locations, and Improv-branded clubs in Pittsburgh, Chicago, Denver, Tempe, Ariz.; Palm Beach, Fla.; and five California cities.

The partnerships marks four years of double-digit growth for TicketWeb in the independent venue and promoter ticketing space, according to Ticketmaster.
