TRNSMT: DF Concerts’ New Festival

Scottish promoter DF Concerts revealed a replacement festival for the canceled T in the Park.

The event is called TRSNMT and will take place in Glasgow Green, July 7-9.

Apart from a very cryptic trailer, not much additional information is available. Radiohead, Kasabian and Biffy Clyro have all been tipped as potential headliners, The Scottish Sun reports.

Other acts speculated to play the first edition of TRNSMT include Belle and Sebastian, Twin Atlantic, Franz Ferdinand, Two Door Cinema Club and DF Concerts.

Pollstar has reached out to DF for more details, such as whether TRNSMT will replace TITP or become a sister event.

CEO Geoff Ellis canceled the 2017 edition of TITP, Scotland’s biggest festival, saying regulators and authorities made staging the event impossible.
