k.d. lang Unveils Routing For 25th Anniversary ‘Ingenue’ Tour
Not only does 2017 mark the 150th anniversary of Canada, but it’s also the 25th anniversary of k.d. lang’s platinum-selling Ingenue album. The award-winning singer/songwriter is marking the milestone with a tour across the provinces this summer.

k.d. is quite beloved in her home country. She was appointed to the Order of Canada, the country’s highest civilian honor, in 1996; was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2013; and honored with a Canada Post stamp in 2014. k.d. was also honored by the Royal Conservatory of Music last year and was named one of Canada’s 150 Ambassadors to encourage citizens to take part in the anniversary celebrations. Her other accolades include four Grammy awards, eight Juno awards, an AMA, a VMA and four awards from GLAAD.
The upcoming tour will feature tunes from Ingenue as well as selections from throughout k.d.’s 30-year career. The excursion begins with two nights in Victoria, British Columbia.
