Artists Added To Summer Sonic, Fuji Rock

A bunch of new artists were added to the rosters of both major Japanese summer festivals.

The Fuji Rock Festival, set for the Naeba ski resort in Niigata Prefecture July 28-30, has added The Amazons, Chronixx, A Guy Called Gerald, Nina Kraviz, Rag N Bone Man, Troyboi, Train, and about a dozen Japanese acts.

Meanwhile, Summer Sonic, which takes place Aug. 19-20, has added Communions, Jose James, Kehlani, Honne and Sundara Karma.

It also announced the first batch of artists who will be playing Sonicmania, the rave that traditionally takes place the night before the Tokyo leg of SS. Those are Kasabian, Liam Gallagher, Justice and Orbital.
