Garth Brooks Rolls To Sprint Center
Philadelphia is gearing up for three nights of Garth Brooks this weekend, and the country megastar has just announced he is headed to Kansas City, Mo., in May.
You know the routine by now: Garth usually books one gig and waits for it to sell out, then adds more performances, though this is being billed as the “last stop on [the] world tour for Kansas and Missouri.” As always his wife, Trisha Yearwood, will be joining him for the May 6 show at the Sprint Center.
Garth plays Philly’s Wells Fargo Center March 24-26 and then will move to Lubbock, Texas, March 30 through April 2. Then its Las Cruces, N.M., April 7-9 and Champaign, Ill., on April 28-30. He is also scheduled to headline 2018’s Houston Livestock Show And Rodeo Feb. 27 and March 18.
Since coming out of retirement from touring, the famed country singer has been on the road since September of 2014, with a month off here and there. He performed at Houston Livestock Show And Rodeo and participated in a keynote conversation with Amazon Music VP Steve Bloom and Hannah Karp of The Wall Street Journal earlier this month.
You can get tickets to the new gig March 31 at 10 a.m. CDT.
