The 13th-century castle is called the Schweppermannsburg and is located on a mountain spur in Pfaffenhofen, a remote area between the Bavarian cities of Regensburg and Nuremberg.
Tickets are limited to just 700 weekend tickets starting at euro 75 including camping.
Hotel bundles are available too. Farrago Festival is promoted by south German promoter and event series Aether in collaboration with Berlin-based booking agency Sweat Lodge.
Manfredi Romano aka DJ Tennis, who’s also part of the festival lineup, is in charge of the artistic direction.
