WMG Appoints New Recorded Music CEO

Warner Music Group has made Max Lousada the new CEO for its Recorded Music operations, which include Atlantic, Warner Bros., Warner Music Nashville, Global Catalog/Rhino and Warner Classics.

Lousada had been working as chairman and CEO of Warner Music UK. 

He will report directly to WMG CEO Steve Cooper and will retain all of his duties with Warner Music UK in his new role, working out of London and New York.
